Strength & Barre combines Brit’s signature training styles to help you gain muscular strength and endurance, with the added benefits of a varied, low-impact program you can complete at home or in the gym. If you’ve been following any of Brit’s other programs and love training with her, this could be the next one for you!
I’m Britany, a NASM certified personal trainer, HIIT and barre instructor from Portland, Oregon. I became Sweat’s first Barre instructor in 2019 and have a range of fun and challenging barre, strength and pregnancy programs you can choose from.

Program Overview
Strength & Barre features plenty of variety thanks to the contrasting training styles and is a great option for anyone who loves working out with Brit, is looking to mix up their training program or if you want to include elements of barre in your strength routine.
Each week you’ll have four 35-45 minute workouts to complete, in addition to an optional cardio session that alternates between strength and barre workouts. Your weekly schedule includes:
Upper Body Strength
Lower Body Strength
Barre Legs & Abs
Barre Arms & Abs
The program is also split into two training blocks designed to help you progress. In block 2 (weeks 7-12) your workout structure remains the same but you’ll build on your progress by increasing the intensity and trying more complex movements, alongside a longer Legs & Abs session.

What you’ll need
Strength & Barre can be done at home or in the gym with minimal equipment. If you don’t have a chair, use a bench or ottoman or use the exercise substitution feature to find a suitable exercise! Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
